Stainless steel Nirvana hanging swing chair
A modernist design by Adrian Thornber in solid polished stainless steel these are made only to order by Nirvana Hanging Chair co which has supplied just over 100 of there around the world including 6 of the more compact Hug chairs to the Ritz Carlton spa resort Palm Beach. (See last photo)
Not only an impressive design and build quality but it’s also extremely comfortable, well balanced and sturdy. The chair can be also suspended from a ceiling support if preferred.
Both the frame and the chair are like new with very light age related wear the polished stainless steel is bright with no signs of discolouration or rust..
The original cushion is made from 4 sheepskin fleeces and again in very good condition with no damage or marks.
The chairs designed to support 130kg when in the frame but more if suspended.
